John Matthew Patrick Hutton, Baron Hutton of Furness, PC is a British Labour politician who was Member of Parliament (MP) for Barrow and Furness from 1992 to 2010 and served in a number of Cabinet offices, including Defence Secretary and Business Secretary.   He is now the Chairman of the Royal United Services Institute.

Robert Mawson is an experienced Executive and Qualified Engineer.  He has worked at Senior Management level for a number of large blue chip companies including Vickers, GEC, CH2M Hill, etc and the UK MOD.  He advises Governments in the International Nuclear Sector and his past experience includes working on the UK Submarine Nuclear Reactor Programmes,  UK Commercial Reactor site and ENEC.

Formerly the Business Strategy Director of Ford of Europe (turnover £25 billion), Alan mainly worked on large product investment decisions and major acquisitions, including Jaguar and Aston Martin.  He was seconded for two years to the DTI to direct the unit that created the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority.   This Authority has an annual budget of £3 billion to deal with over £100 billion of legacy clean-up issues. He subsequently worked for a global engineering company and on private equity projects.

An experienced FD with a wealth of international board-level experience in energy, infrastructure and public sectors.  Bill was formerly CFO of the UK’s Nuclear Decommissioning Authority where he led the negotiations with the Treasury to secure an annual budget of more than £3billion a year.  Previously Bill worked for Texas Utilities, and Globeleq, investing in power projects in the US, Europe, Africa, Asia and South America. Bill is a mathematic graduate from Durham University, and qualified with Ernst & Young.  He brings nuclear, finance and power project development to the GMET team.

Steven is a Commercial Executive with over 35 years’ experience in the heavy engineering and technology sector, coupled with first class management skills and an impressive track record in handling large complex MOD and commercial contracts (including alliances and  Nuclear Projects).  Steven has extensive experience of dealing with international companies, UK MOD, joint ventures, alliances and consortiums.   He has led many large bids, negotiations and Project “start ups”.  

Cyril is a highly experienced Business Director and Manager with nearly 50 years of working in many varied businesses and disciplines. Whilst having an in depth knowledge of financial control and management, he also has a wide ranging knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental, Facilities and Human Resources.
